Mud Office offers a garden design that covers all aspects of the garden design process. This process is designed to provide all the information required to create a beautiful garden.
The design of your bespoke garden design begins with an initial meeting on site with the clients. This meeting allows us to understand the existing and unique site conditions. We invite the clients to share their aspirations for the project and to impart their brief. We assist the clients at this meeting with actionable advice and information. Following this preliminary consultation, we prepare a Landscape Fee Proposal. The Landscape Fee Proposal includes the project brief and scope. A fee is charged for this preliminary one hour consultation. This is credited to the client should they engage Mud Office for further services.
The concept package illustrates the proposed layout, materials and planting palette. The package includes plans and views to clearly express the design outcome. It is a fluid, working document that is developed in close consultation with the clients. Once the design is signed off we proceed with Documentation.
The documentation package includes the information required to price and install a project. This package generally includes a landscape plan, planting plan, planting schedule, lighting plan, details and specifications. This document is used to tender the project.
Mud Office can recommend experienced landscape contractors to tender on projects if required. We can review tenders and assist with engaging landscape contractors. The tender will be accompanied by the cost of plants procured through Mud Office from reputable wholesale nurseries. Mud Office can also assist in the selection and acquisition of outdoor elements such as loose furniture and art.
Mud Office can source planting if required from wholesale suppliers.
Advice and Comment
Mud Office is available for advice and comment during the construction of the garden. This ensures the project has the best outcome and client satisfaction.
All invoices are itemised to show time allocated to tasks undertaken for full transparency.
Minimum project fee is $8,000
Our fees are consistent with the scale of fees and charges as set out by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
